This dress is one of our favourites for everything from parties to family get-togethers. It’s made from pure organic double cotton with a crinkle effect. We love the tiered rows, decorated with lace inserts along the seams for an extra-special finish, and the hand-smocked detail around the neckline. The sleeves are finished with elasticated cuffs for a smart look that’s comfortable and it does up at the back with a single faux mother-of-pearl button. So light it almost floats, double cotton is created using two beautifully fine layers and boasts a relaxed texture, as if it’s been woven with pockets of air. Due to the double-faced nature of this fabric, it will become more textured with washing. We love this rumpled, relaxed look and the fabric will stretch back into shape with wear.
