Modal-based fabric is ultra soft and highly moisture absorbent — more so than cotton — so moisture is absorbed into the fabric and due to natural breathability, swiftly wicked dry. In another similarity to bamboo, modal can also keep feet cool, actively thermoregulating the fibres to adjust the internal temperature of the socks.
