Aubin Portloe Submariner Jumper

The Portloe Submariner is inspired by Naval British heritage. The Submariner was originally supplied to the British Navy; it was designed to protect sailors from the harsh elements of the sea. Submarine crews particularly favoured the jumper. It was later adopted by the pilots of the RAF, for exactly the same practical reasons. Traditionally knitted in a coarse British wool we have decided to upgrade the yarn to the finest merino. Manufactured in Scotland by William Lockie, who have been knitting garments since 1874.
